THE BRIEF: A series of apparel leading up to and through the album rollout for Lord Huron’s 5th Studio album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1. The series features cohesive elements graphically and thematically, fitting into the mysterious and strange universe that the band is known for.

THE IDEA:  The central concept is two eyes overlapping, reversed, and flipped, with a reflecting star. An eye for the present, and eye for the past, and an overlapping third eye to see who-know-what.

The sleeve features a vertical illustration of the cosmos radiating from (into?) the all-seeing eye, which spills into the water below, reflecting the same stars from above. Space and water, vast unknown water, seem related to me and in xxx xxxxx xx xxxxx xxxxxx, you can see this concept illustrated. 

The back features lettering split into Japanese and English—both joining to read “The Cosmic Selector.”
